Sadieville resident, William Joseph Hillard, was arrested by the Georgetown Police Department during a routine traffic stop on October 28th at 7:32 p.m.
According to a Uniform Citation the defendant failed to signal for a turn and was pulled over. The investigating officer then ascertained the operator of the vehicle had no insurance and was driving on a suspended drivers license. And, most serious of all, a Probation violation for felony offense.
The charges are as follows: Failure to or improper signal, Operating on suspended/revoked operators, Fail of non-owner to maintain required insurance, and Probation violation (for felony offense).
The defendant was being held at the Scott County Detention Center on no-bond as of yesterday, but had a court hearing scheduled for today.
