Scott County Sheriff's Deputies were flagged down by a Walmart employee in reference to 34-year-old Lisa Marie Sims walking out of the store with a cart full of Gaming consoles (PS3, Xbox), an iPod dock, DVD's, and games.
When the deputies contacted her she was loading the items into a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Amanda Burke. Sims admitted to stealing the items and Burke admitted to driving to Walmart for the purpose of shoplifting.
The items recovered by deputies were valued at $1,419.41.
Both defendants posted $5,000 surety bond on November 27th and have preliminary hearings scheduled for January 10th.
