Scott Deputies make Arrest, Help Citizen, Investigate

Scott County Deputies were hailed down by drivers in response to a man lying on the sidewalk of South Broadway Street late this afternoon. The subject was immediately transported to Georgetown Community Hospital.

In the process of helping the pedestrian they noticed a vehicle that matched the description of a hit and run with front end damage. During their investigation the suspect was arrested for Expired operators license and not having valid insurance.

The suspect was transported for further questioning and eventually to the Scott County Detention Center.
