Georgetown Man Arrested for Hit and Run

A local Georgetown man, Rodney Cobb, was arrested and charged for leaving the scene of an accident on October 17th according to Georgetown Police records.

The defendant's charges include Alcohol intoxication in a public place, Leaving the scene of an accident - failure to render aid or assistance, and Operating on suspended or revoked operators license.

Allegedly, the defendant struck another vehicle and then vacated the scene of the accident.

The defendant was released by on ROR (release on recognizance) bond pending a future court date, according to jail officials.
