UPS Driver Caught Stealing Pills Violates Probation

Back in September, 36-year-old UPS driver Christopher Aime Genton of Lexington admitted to Georgetown Police that he took a package intended for Walgreens at 926 S. Broadway in Georgetown.

The box contained 3100 pills such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Methadone. The package was opened and then placed near a dumpster behind the Outlet Center Mall. The defendant told police he placed the package there hoping someone would find it and return it to Walgreens.

The then defendant plead guilty, was fired by UPS, and was placed on Probation.

The details of how he violated probation are not available at this time but a warrant was issued for his arrest on November 20th. Lexington police arrested him on November 25th and he was transported to the Scott County Detention Center.
