The details are thin at the moment, but 58-year-old Jeffrey Dale Butler has been indicted for Rape in the first degree. The statute, KRS 510.040, is a Class B felony which carries a sentence of not less than ten (10) years nor more than twenty (20).
The Scott Circuit Court Indictment alleges that the defendant engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim by forcible compulsion. The defendant's address is listed to be on the 300 block of East Washington Street in Versailles, KY.
Scott County Detention Center records show the defendant's intake date was yesterday, December 11th, and the bond is set at $50,000 full cash.
