Convicted Felon, Stolen Guns, Dealing Ecstasy, and the DEA

On December 4th, 23-year-old Michael Kenneth Davidson - already a convicted felon - was arrested on three separate Scott County felony warrants by the Georgetown Police Department.

According to court records the defendant had in his possession, and sold, a total of three handguns - two of them being stolen.

The defendant was also the subject of a joint drug sting involving the Georgetown Police and the US Drug Enforcement Agency. Allegedly, a confidential informant purchased 20 tablets shaped like Ninja Turtles for the amount of $300.00 Dollars. The tablets were sent to an undisclosed crime lab, tested, and determined to be Ecstasy (MDMA).

Mr. Davidson has been charged with three counts of Possession of firearm by convicted felon (enhanced to Class C felony because they were handguns), Receiving stolen property (firearm), and Trafficking in controlled substance (first degree).
