Two Winchester Men Arrested for DUI, Multiple Drug Charges
Kentucky State Police arrested 26-year-old James Anthony Dixon and 25-year-old Jerry Allen Miller involving a traffic stop on I-75.
A KSP Trooper says he observed the driver swerving on the interstate and pulled him over. As he approached he could smell marijuana and had to help the driver out of the car because the defendant, Dixon, was falling over.
The other Trooper says he saw the other defendant, Miller, throw a needle out of the vehicles window.
When they searched the vehicle they found Xanax pills, marijuana, and assorted drug related items.
Dixon was charged with DUI, Possession of controlled substance, Drug paraphernalia, Possession of marijuana, Driving DUI suspended license, Failure to wear seat belt, and Failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
Miller's charges are Tampering with physical evidence, Possession of controlled substance, and two other minor drug charges.
