The Georgetown Police Department say that 40-year-old Junior Lee Halfhill committed the crime of Sexual Abuse in the first degree. Police state that on several occasions the defendant engaged in sexual acts that violated Kentucky Revised Statute 510.110. This charge is a very serious crime and is classified as a Class C felony.
Police reports say that the allegations were described during an audio and video forensic interview.
The defendant plead not guilty and the case has been waived to the Grand Jury. The judge ordered no contact with the alleged victim and the bond to stay at $10,000 full cash.
As of yesterday morning the defendant was in custody at the Scott County Detention Center according to official records.
