Man Arrested for DUI in Bizarre Hit and Run

On November 3rd, Georgetown Police responded to a hit and run on lemons Mill Road. When the officer arrived on the scene the victim had told dispatch that the suspect, 56-year-old Paul M. Sizemore, drove into Violets Trace and was "driving through yards to get away from the caller".

The officer pulled over the vehicle near the vicinity of  Lemons Mill Road and Seth Way. The officer states that he observed the suspect to be disorientated, smelled of alcohol, and could barely stand.

The suspect stated that he had a "few drinks" and was on prescription medication.

The defendant was charged with Leaving the scene of an accident and Operating a motor vehicle under the influence. The bail was $4,000 - no word on whether bond was posted - and a court date was set for today.
