Georgetown Man Charged with DUI, Assault Involving His Child in Lexington

A Local Georgetown man, Rodney Clay Agee, is facing multiple charges and is in the custody of The Fayette County Detention Center. His charges include 1) DUI, 2) Leaving the scene of an accident, 3) No insurance, and 4) Assault in the 1st degree - according to online jail records.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is in jail, accused of leaving the scene of a crash that injured his child.It happened on the off ramp of I-75 onto Newtown Pike around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.Rodney Agee is facing assault, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident charges following the crash.Lexington Police say Agee caught a ride with a passerby back to his Georgetown home instead of getting help for the child.
